Men's Golf: Pomona-Pitzer Takes Fourth At Hal Sutton Invitational

Bossier City, LA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Golf team took fourth at the Centenary Hal Sutton Invitational on Monday and Tuesday afternoon.

The Sagehens finished with a final score of 646, which landed them in fourth place overall. East Texas Baptist took first with a score of 617, Tyler Junior College took second with 624 and Williams Baptist took third with a score of 641.

Leading the way for the Sagehens was Owen Rosebeck who finished in a tie for seventh as he shot two consistent rounds of golf with a 78 and a 77 for a score of 155.  Alan Tom also finished inside the top-15 as he tied for 12th overall with a 76 in round one and an 82 in round two for a score of 158.

Jack Carrigan ended his two days in a tie for 25th with an 81 and an 84 for a score of 165 and Conor Rooney finished in a tie for 38th with an 86 and an 82 for a final score of 168.

Ending the day for the Sagehens was Geoffery Holland who fished in 54th as he shot a 93 and a 94 for a score of 187.

Up Next: The Sagehens will next compete in the West Cup at La Verne on March 25th.
