Men's Golf: Sagehens Take 15th At West Cup

LA VERNE, Ca. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Tennis team finished in 15th overall at the West Cup at Sierra La Verne Country Club.

Pomona-Pitzer finished with a final three-day score of 954. CMS took first at 874, followed by Redlands at 883 and La Verne in third at 889.

The Sagehens were led by Owen Rosebeck who finished in 15th overall as he shot a 72 in round one and came back with a 76 in rounds two and three for a final score of 224.

Conor Rooney ended the tournament in a tie for 28th with a 78 in rounds one and two and then a 73 for a final score of 229.

Jeremy Burton ended in a tie for 73rd with an 88, 79 and an 82 for a score of 249 while Jack Carrigan finished a few strokes back in 79th with an 86, 82 and an 84 for a score of 252. Alan Tom shot an 88 in round one and then withdrew for rounds two and three to end his tournament in 82nd overall.

Up Next: The Sagehens will next compete in the SCIAC II at Industry, California on April 6th and 7th.
