Men's Golf: Sagehens Sit In Seventh After Day Two Of SCIAC Championships

PASADENA, CA. --  The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Golf team ended day two of the SCIAC Championship in seventh place at Brookside Golf Club on Friday afternoon.

The Sagehens finished day two with a score of 323 and currently sit with a total of 619 heading into the final day of competition.  CMS leads after day two with a total of 579, followed by Redlands at 584, La Verne at 586, Occidental at 598, Chapman at 601 and California Lutheran at 607.

The Sagehens were led by Owen Rosebeck who began the day in second place with a 68 in round one and finished tied for fifth after a 77 in round two for a total of 145. Jack Carrigan ended day two in a tie for 18th overall with a 71 and an 80 in round two for a score of 151.

Conor Rooney is currently tied for 33rd overall after a 74 in round one and an 83 in round two for a score of 157.. David Song sits in 41st overall with a consistent two rounds of 83, Jeremy Burton in 44th with an 84 and an 87 for a score of 171 and Geoffrey Holland ends the day for the Sagehens in 46th with an 87 and a 95 for a score of 182.

The Sagehens will continue with the final round of the SCIAC Championship tomorrow morning at Brookside Golf Club.
