Bernard Walker began his tenure as Head Men's Golf Coach at Pomona-Pitzer in 2004 and has completed 13 seasons in that role. He also added Head Women's Golf Coach duties when the program was elevated to varsity status in 2010, and has since helped two of the Sagehens earn individual qualifications to nationals (Jennifer Kim in 2014, Tiffany Gu in 2015).

In 2015, Walker coached an All-Region honoree in both men's and women's golf for the first time, as Kevin Knox was honored for the men's team and Tiffany Gu for the women. Knox finished fourth in the SCIAC Championships, while Gu game in second. 

In addition to his responsibilites as head golf coach, Coach Walker is also athletics facility manager. He has previously served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Pomona-Pitzer Football program as well, including one season as the acting head coach.

Walker graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland and earned a master's degree from St. Lawrence University outside of Buffalo, N.Y.
