Men's Swim & Dive: Sagehens Score 96 After Day 1 of Lancer Invite

RIVERSIDE, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swim & Dive program finished the first day of the Lancer Invitational with 95 meet points on Friday afternoon. Competing against Division I host Cal Baptist University and Division II programs Concordia University (Irvine) and Fresno Pacific, the Sagehens finished the day in fourth after eight events. 

The Sagehens first competed in the 50 Yard Butterfly as Greg Havton took fifth with a time of 22.72 seconds while Ryan Drover finished eighth at 23.10. Drover later finished in third in the 50 Backstroke at 24.51. Nick Lewis finished in fourth in the 50 Breaststroke after clocking in at 27.21.

Over in the 500 Freestyle, Andrew Garcia crossed in seventh with a time of 4:53.50. Lukas Ming Menkhoff competed in the 200 Individual Medley and ended in third place with a time of 1:54.65. His teammate Jack Swanson finished 11th at 2:01.43.
