Men's Tennis: Jake Yasgoor and Graham Maassen Earn All-SCIAC Honors

CLAREMONT, CA. – Seniors Jake Yasgoor and Graham Maassen were named to the 2017 Men's Tennis All-SCIAC teams as announced by the league office on Friday.

Yasgoor was tabbed First Team All-SCIAC while Maassen took home Second Team All-SCIAC honors.

Yasoor earned First Team All-SCIAC for the fourth-straight year to end his collegiate season. Yasgoor earned a bid into the NCAA Singles Tournament as the No. 1 ranked singles player in the West Region. Yasgoor is coming off of a 6-0, 6-2 win over Redlands singles player Chase Lipscomb and has won 12 of his last 13 singles matches with an 18-4 overall record.

Maassen earned All-SCIAC honors for the third-straight season as the senior played at the No. 2 singles line for the Sagehens and played No. 2 doubles with teammate Jake Yasgoor. Maassen earned All-American honors last season as a doubles team with teammate Spencer Simonides.

The Sagehens ended the year in third place in the SCIAC with an 18-10 overall record and a 6-3 record in conference play.
