    The No. 12 Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Tennis Team split their road doubleheader on Saturday, losing to Division II Azusa Pacific University 8-1 and defeating SCIAC opponent Occidental College 7-2.

     CLAREMONT, CA. – Pomona-Pitzer had four athletes earn Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Athlete of the Week honors with junior Izzy Deatherage (Softball), sophomore Lukas Ming Menkhoff (Men’s Swim & Dive), sophomore Jed Kronenberg (Men’s Tennis) and senior Kahea Kahaulelio (Women’s Water Polo) all earning the award as announced by the league office.

    The No. 12 Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Tennis Team are ready to serve up an exciting new season as they begin play this Saturday, February 9th with a home match against Cal Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. Following last season’s second place finish in SCIAC play, the Sagehens are ready to compete again with a strong core of returners and several excited freshmen in the squad.
