The Sagehens open up their 2017 campaign with a non-conference race at home against both the Occidental College Tigers and the La Verne Leopards on Friday, September 1. Pomona-Pitzer will conclude the busy weekend the following day when they travel to Brea to compete in the Mark Corvert Classic at 8:30 a.m.

Pomona-Pitzer will open SCIAC competition on Friday, September 29 at La Mirada Park when they compete in the SCIAC Multi-Dual Meet. The race is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
On October 14, the Sagehens will compete as a split squad as some runners stay home to participate in the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, while others travel to Wisconsin to run in then UW-Oshkosh Invitational.
"I'm looking forward to traveling to Wisconsin to run in the UW Oshkosh Invitational," said Carpenter. "This is the largest NCAA Division III meet in the country so we will have the opportunity to compete against many of the top teams from across the nation. I think it is important to run against top competition on national championship style courses and this meet allows us to do both."
Two weeks later on October the Sagehens will head to Prado Park in Chino, CA for the 2017 SCIAC Championships.
The NCAA Division III West Regionals will be held on Pomona-Pitzer's home course but will be hosted by Occidental College on November 11.
