WEST COVINA, CA. – The No. 19 Pomona-Pitzer Women's Golf team finished in third place at the SCIAC II Tournament at South Hills Golf Course.
The Sagehens finished with an overall score of 632, which was third behind Claremont-Mudd-Scripps who finished at 627 and Redlands who took first at 612.
Leading the Sagehens was Sophia Hui who ended the tournament with a top-five score of 153 as she shot a 78 and a 75, which landed her in fourth place overall.
Valerie Wang came in right behind Hui as she finished in a tie for sixth place with an 81 in round one and a 76 in round two for an overall score of 157.
Catherine Lott and Jennifer Kim finished inside the top-20 as Lott ended in a tie for 18th as she shot an 83 and an 81 for a score 164 and Kim took 20th overall with an 84 and an 81 for a score of 165.
Right behind Kim was Andi Chaloult who ended the day for the Sagehens with a 21st place finished with a 77 in round one and an 89 in round two for a final score of 166.
