Women's Golf: No. 7 Sagehens Take Third At SCIAC 1

CHINO HILLS, CA. – The No. 7 Pomona-Pitzer Women's Golf team finished in third place at the SCIAC 1 on Saturday and Sunday afternoon at Los Serranos Golf Course.

The Sagehens ended in third with an overall score of 640 after shooting a 317 in round one and a 323 in round two. CMS finished in first with a score of 627 and Redlands finished in second with 634.

Pomona-Pitzer had two golfers finished inside the top-10. Leading the way was Gabrielle Herzig who finished in a tie for fourth overall as she shot an 80 in round one and a 77 in round two for a score of 157.  Sophia Hui ended the tournament in a tie for seventh overall after shooting a second place score of 76 in round one but finished round two with an 82 for a score of 158.

Annabelle Huether finished in a tie for 13th with a an 80 in round one and an 81 in round two for a score of 161 and Stephanie Yu and Andi Chaloult ended the weekend with identical scores as the pair finished in a tie for 18th with an 81 and an 83 for a score of 164. Priscilla Ki ended the tournament for the Sagehens in 32nd overall with an 89 in round one and an 84 in round two for a final score of 173.
