INDIANAPOLIS, IN. – The NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Committee has selected Caroline Casper of the Pomona-Pitzer Women's Tennis Team to compete in the singles competition of the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships on Wednesday afternoon. The committee selected seven singles players and three doubles teams from each region to participate in the individual competition, choosing based on win-loss record, strength of schedule, and eligibility.
Caroline Casper has been served as a solid no. 1 and 2 singles player for the Sagehens this season, overcoming a rough March and work her way back to a winning 10-9 record in singles. Casper's best performance came against University of Chicago when she took down then-No.14 Marjorie Antohi with a pair of 6-1 sets. She also won against Anjali Kashyap of Johns Hopkins University 6-3 and 6-2.
The individual championships will take place from May 24 to 26 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California.
