  • Women's Track & Field: Cardillo and Hamilton Set New 10K Marks At Bryan Clay

    Two members of the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Track & Field Team successfully improved their national qualifying time on Wednesday evening, competing against top runners across the nation at Azusa Pacific University. Running under the lights at the 2019 Bryan Clay Invitational, junior Lauren Hamilton and frosh Lila Cardillo recorded exceptional 10,000 meter marks.
  • Women's Track & Field: Addo-Ashong Sets Program Record In 100m Hurdles

    In their final multi-dual of the season, the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Track & Field Team saw Vicky-Marie Addo-Ashong reach a nationally ranked mark in the Triple Jump and 100 Meter Hurdles, giving the team plenty of optimism before the postseason. Competing against Chapman University, Cal Lutheran University, Occidental College, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, the Sagehens went 2-2 at the meet to bring their dual record to 5-3.

    The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Track & Field program saw several excellent marks at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational with a handful of athletes reaching the program top-10 marks on Saturday afternoon. Competing against top athletes from Division I, II, III and professional athletes, the Sagehens were able to show their ability to stand out.

    The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Track & Field team came away with a split in their latest SCIAC dual meet on Saturday, defeating University of La Verne 87-72 and getting edged out by University of Redlands 107-52. The Sagehens saw two athletes put up personal bests and make top-10 program marks in two events.

    Battling the rainy conditions at Strehle Track, the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Track & Field Team excelled in their conference meet of the season as they outscored Whittier College 92.5 to 64.5 and beat Caltech 103-40. The Sagehens produced strong results in most of the events, taking first place in six events.

Competing against top athletes from Division II, III, and NAIA programs, the Rossi Relays provided a valuable competitive experience for the Sagehens.
