Timeline and Field Size History of Division III XC

 



Highlights/Notes from the 2017 Championships:

• Darin Lau (UWisc-Eau Claire) becomes only the 15th 4-time All American in D3 History
• Isaac Garcia-Cassani (SUNY Geneseo), Mohamed Hussein (Amherst), and Mason Tope (Loras) become the #78-80 3-time All Americans in D3 history.
• Khia Kurtenbach (Chicago), Abigail Nadler (Middlebury), Taryn Cordani (Ithaca) and Emily Bryson (Brandeis) become the #65-68 3-time All Americans in D3 history.
• Albion, Berea, Plymouth St, and Ramapo have their first All Americans (men), while Stockton has its first All American (women).
• UCalif-Santa Cruz makes its first team appearance in the men's championships.
• Johns Hopkins has the 3rd-highest women's team victory margin in D3 history with its win over UWisc-Eau Claire (96-191)
• North Central has the 2nd-highest men's team victory margin in D3 history with its win over UWisc-La Crosse (57-196)
• North Central's men tally four All Americans for the 8th time in D3 history (they had seven in 2009, and five in 1993 and 2016)
