Odermann added his third rushing touchdown of the half late in the second quarter after a six-play 48-yard drive ended with a four-yard scamper to give the Sagehens a 28-0 lead at halftime.

La Verne ended the game with a 10-yard rushing score, but the big first half by the Sagehens led by their senior quarterback was enough to secure the big win at home for Pomona-Pitzer.
