Elite Fall Camp
Saturday, September 7th, 2019 (high school students)
The Pomona-Pitzer Elite Camp is for rising junior and senior student-athletes (class of 2020 and 2021) who are serious about playing basketball at the college level, and who are interested in an elite academic and athletic collegiate experience. The camp will give players exposure to the Pomona-Pitzer coaching staff and the opportunity to compete among other highly motivated student-athletes.
Both Pomona and Pitzer Colleges rank among the nation’s most prestigious institutions. The student-athletes at Pomona and Pitzer join forces for athletic teams, and the NCAA knows us as ‘Pomona-Pitzer’.
Pomona-Pitzer is recognized as one of the nation's premiere NCAA Division III basketball programs. Since Coach Kat was named Head Coach in 1989 the Sagehens have made 13 trips to the NCAA National Tournament and captured 11 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships.
Coach Kat and his staff have built their offensive philosophy around an aggressive transition game, crisp ball and player movement, and a ‘TEAM’ mentality.
Pomona-Pitzer is regularly among the nation’s leaders in FG% defense and rebounding.
The Pomona-Pitzer Elite Camp is held in Rains Center on the Pomona College campus.
