Men's Golf: Pomona-Pitzer Takes 10th At California State Intercollegiate Tournament.

HEMET, Calif. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Golf team finished in 10th place at the California State Intercollegiate Tournament with a two-round score of 621.

Pomona-Pitzer played in some uncharacteristic cold and rainy weather during the Cal State Tournament as rain started failing shortly before the first tee and continue throughout the day.

The Sagehens were led by Owen Rosebeck who finished in a tie for 17th overall with a 77 in round one and a 72 in round two for a score of 149.

Conor Rooney finished the tournament with a 77 in round one and a 74 in round two for a score of 151 in a tie for 23rd.

Sam Swayer ended in a tie for 44th as he shot an 81 in round one and came back with a 78 in roun two for a score of 159.

The Sagehens rounded out their top-five as Spencer Katchman took 52nd with an 82 and an 80 for a score of 162 and Gilbert Chang finished right behind him in a tie for 53rd with an 84 and an 81 for a score of 165.
