PASADENA, CA. -- The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Golf team finished in seventh place at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships on Saturday afternoon at Brookside Golf Club.
The Sagehens finished in seventh place with a total score of 935. La Verne took first place at 877, CMS at second with 878, Redlands in third at 880, Occidental in fourth at 899, Chapman in fifth at 900, Cal Lutheran in sixth at 913 and Whittier in eighth at 962.
The Sagehens were led by Owen Rosebeck who finished in a tie for 12th overall with an 80 on day three for a score of 225. Jack Carrigan finished with the second best score of the Sagehens as he ended in a tie for 27th overall with an 80 for a score of 231.
Conor Rooney finished just behind Carrigan in a tie for 33rd overall after a 79 in round three gave him a final score of 236. David Song finished in 39th overall with his best day of the tournament after shooting a 77 for a final score of 243.
Jeremy Burton and Geoff Holland ended the day for the Sagehens as Burton finished in 43rd overall after shooting an 84 for a score of 255 and Holland ended in a tie for 44th with an 82 in round three for a score of 264.
