Men's Soccer Falls to Redlands, 4-0

Claremont, Calif. - Visiting Redlands scored three second-half goals to defeat Pomona-Pitzer, 4-0, Saturday at the Sagehen Soccer Stadium. 

The loss drops Pomona-Pitzer to 6-7-2 overall and 6-5-1 in conference play (5th). SCIAC-leading Redlands now stands at 11-2-2 and 9-2-1.

The Bulldogs led, 1-0, at halftime following Casey Chubbfertal's goal in the opening seven minutes. In the second 45 minutes, Redlands goals were scored by Keoni Yates, Chase Boone, and Cody Dunham, as the Bulldogs outshot Pomona-Pitzer, 10-4. 

For the Sagehens, JK Gopakumar (pictured) tallied two shots, while six other Sagehens tallied one each. Goalie Ben Mitchell saved four shots. 

Pomona-Pitzer hosts La Verne Monday afternoon at 4:00pm before traveling Wednesday to Caltech.
