Pomona-Pitzer Moves To 7-0 In SCIAC

Thousand Oaks, Calif. - The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swimming and Diving team picked up wins over Cal Lutheran and Occidental as it remained perfect in the SCIAC at 7-0 this season on Saturday afternoon. 

Final margins were 215-65 over Occidental and 181-116 over Cal Lutheran, as the Sagehens improve to 7-2 overall in dual meets this season, including the perfect mark in the SCIAC. 

Sophomore Daniel To (pictured) swept the two backstroke events for Pomona-Pitzer, while his younger brother Samuel To came in second in both. The 100 was particularly close, with Daniel To winning in 52.67, and Samuel To just .18 back in 52.85. 

Freshman Jason Xu also earned a win for the Sagehens in the 200 freestyle, while freshman Mark Hallman picked up wins in both the 100 free and the 500 free. Sophomore Danny Villars added a win in the 200fly on the day as well. 

Pomona-Pitzer is back in action next weekend when it travels across the street to face CMS in a battle of SCIAC unbeatens.
