Men's Swimming and Diving: Sagehens Finish Day Two Of Collegiate Winter Invitational In Second Place

Pomona-Pitzer men's swimming and diving team finished day two of the Collegiate Winter Invitational in second Place with 1,232 points.

The Sagehens finished in first place in four events during day two.

Sophomore Samuel To started things off with a first place finish in the 100 Yard Fly with a time of 50.80 and teammate freshman Adrian Hui finished right behind To in second place at 51.50.

To also took first in the 100 Yard Back clocking in at 51.72 with teammate freshman Ryan Drovercoming in second at 52.87, which moves him into fifth all time in program history.

Freshmen Teddy Koerner and Nick Lewis both registered top-five times in Sagehen history in the 100 Yard Breast Stroke with Koerner at 58.72 and Lewis with 58.94.

Koerner also recorded the fifth best 200 Yard IM time in program history as he finished in second place at 1:57.60.

The Sagehens will continue the Collegiate Winter Invitational on Sunday, December 13th. Pomona-Pitzer's aquatics students will then take a break for academic finals, and will resume competition Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at home against Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
