Men's Swimming and Diving: Sagehens in 2nd Place After Day 1 of Collegiate Winter Invitational

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. – The Sagehens won both the 200 yard freestyle relay and 400 yard medley relay and the No. 16 Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swimming and Diving team sits in second place after day one of the Collegiate Winter Invitational.

Division II Concordia University is currently in first place with 258 points, Pomona-Pitzer is in second with 254 points, and host La Verne is in third with 175 points. 

Adrian Hui, Danny Villars, Nick Lewis and Samuel To won the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:24.87.

Hui followed up the relay with a second place finish in the 50 yard freestyle (20.92).

The Sagehens won the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 3:28.28 with the team of Daniel To, Teddy Koerner, Villars, and Hui. Occidental College finished the race in second with a time of 3:32.27.

The Sagehens are back in action tomorrow at 10 a.m. for prelims and come back at 5 p.m. for evening finals.
