17 From Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive Named CSCAA Scholar All-American
July 02, 2019The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named 17 athletes from the Pomona-Pitzer Swimming & Diving program to the Scholar All-American Team. The award recognizes students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and competed at their respective school’s conference championships. -
Swim & Dive: Sagehens Conclude NCAA With Both Men and Women In Top-15
March 23, 2019The Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive Program concluded their run at the NCAA Championship on a high note, notching three All-American honors, while the Men’s team finished in 11th with 139.50 points and the women took seventh with 143 points. It was the second straight year the Sagehens had both the men and women finish within the top-15 together. -
Swim & Dive: Men's and Women's Finish Day 3 Within Top-10
March 22, 2019The Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive program saw both men's and women's teams reach the top-10 in the standings after day three of the NCAA Swim & Dive Championship in the Greensboro Aquatics Center. The Sagehens saw their women's team in seventh after amassing 120 points while the men sit in 10th with 101 points. -

March 20, 2019The Pomona-Pitzer Swim & Dive program got off to a solid start in day one the NCAA Swim & Dive National Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greensboro Aquatic Center as the men’s side finished tied for ninth with 30 points while the women are in eighth at 37 points. -

Stern Finishes Second, Set Program Record At SCIAC 3-Meter Final
February 16, 2019Jem Stern finished in second place in the 3-Meter Dive at the SCIAC Dive Championship on Saturday, setting the program record in the event as well. This marks the second straight year the Sagehens had an All-SCIAC athlete in the 3-Meter Dive competition after Bilguun Altantulkhuur finished third last year. -
Sagehens Divers Embark SCIAC Championship Title
February 14, 2019The Pomona-Pitzer Dive athletes will be competing for a SCIAC Championship at Haldeman Pool this Saturday and Sunday, February 16th and 17th. After a successful showing by both the men’s and women’s team throughout the regular season, including a couple program records, the Sagehens are ready to take the big prize this weekend. -

February 11, 2019CLAREMONT, CA. – Pomona-Pitzer had four athletes earn Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Athlete of the Week honors with junior Izzy Deatherage (Softball), sophomore Lukas Ming Menkhoff (Men’s Swim & Dive), sophomore Jed Kronenberg (Men’s Tennis) and senior Kahea Kahaulelio (Women’s Water Polo) all earning the award as announced by the league office. -
Men's Swim & Dive: Menkhoff Sets Two Records At Pomona-Pitzer Invite
February 09, 2019The Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swim and Dive Team hosted the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, competing against swimmers from cross-street rival Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in a non-scoring dual meet. Lukas Ming Menkhoff made history at the invite, setting the Haldeman Pool record for the 50-yard Butterfly with a time of 22.36. Swimming the butterfly during the 50 Freestyle event, Menkhoff currently holds the third-fastest time in the country. -
Men's Swim & Dive: Sagehens Complete SCIAC Sweep With Caltech Victory
February 02, 2019The pouring rain and gusty winds did not damper the Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swim and Dive team on Saturday afternoon, as they secured their first conference sweep in the modern SCIAC era after defeating Caltech 233-51. The victory marks the first time the Sagehens went 8-0 in conference meets in history. -

December 14, 2018The Pomona-Pitzer Men’s Swim & Dive program finished the first day of the Lancer Invitational with 95 meet points on Friday afternoon. Competing against Division I host Cal Baptist University and Division II programs Concordia University (Irvine) and Fresno Pacific, the Sagehens finished the day in fourth after eight events. -

November 19, 2018In an attempt to fundraise for sarcoma research, the Pomona-Pitzer Swim and Dive program will be participating in the Ted Mullin Hour of Power Relay on Monday, November 19. This will be the eighth straight year the Sagehens have participated in this special event. -
