RIVERSIDE, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Swim team battled against two talented Division I programs on Saturday afternoon, completing a tri-dual meet against Cal Baptist University and Cal State Bakersfield. Paddy Baylis had a standout performance as the New Zealand-native was the Sagehens' sole winner with a top finish in the 1000 Yard Freestyle at 9:22.97 and first in the 500 Free at 4:34.84.
In the 1000 Free, Dylan Hou finished at 9:47.14 to take third place. Freshman Anzo DeGuilio impressed in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a second-place finish at 1:42.91 and later took sixth in the 100 Freestyle at 46.99.
Over at the 100 Backstroke, Jason Lu crossed in fourth at 52.64 seconds and fourth in the 200 Back at 1:55.33. Matthew Choi placed in fourth in the 100 Breaststroke at 58.70 and took third in the 200 Breast at 2:07.63. Hou followed behind in fourth in the 200 Breast at 2:08.02. Will Abele crossed in fifth in the 200 Butterfly at 1:54.95 and finished second in the 500 Free at 4:43.29.
