Men's Tennis: Gearou, Kronenberg And Bellet Earn All-SCIAC Honors

CLAREMONT, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Men's Tennis team had three layers earn All-Conference as senior Josh Gearou and sophomore Jed Kronenberg earned First Team All-SCIAC and senior Octave Bellet De Giacomoni earned Second Team All-SCIAC as announced by the league office.

Gearou earned first team honors while competing towards the top of singles and doubles matches for the Sagehens this season.  Gearou is currently the 31st ranked singles player in Division III and compiled a 11-9 record this season for singles matches. Gearou also competes in doubles where he went 5-4 in conference play.

Kronenberg also earned first team honors for the Sagehens after competing in the No. 1 singles spot all season long. Kronenberg ends the regular season ranked No. 10 in singles competition with a 14-10 record and 6-2 in SCIAC play.

Octave Bellet rounds out the awards for the Sagehens with Second Team All-SCIAC honors. Bellet went 14-9 this season in singles matches and 6-2 in conference matches.

The Sagehens earned the No. 2 seed in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament and will host the No. 3 seed Redlands Bulldogs on Friday, May 3rd at 1:00 p.m.
