Men's Tennis: Sagehens Earn ITA All-Academic Team Honors

CLAREMONT, CA - The Pomona-Pitzer men's tennis team earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team honors for having a team GPA above a 3.2 for the 2018-19 season, as announced by the ITA.

The Sagehens had 10 athletes earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Award honors, which require at least a 3.5 grade point average during the 2018-19 academic year. The 10 athletes include: Josh Gearou, Sam Gearou, Avery Bicks, Jonathon Miller, Jack Bernstein, Jed Kronenberg, Nils Skattum, Jacob Schoenherr, Quinn Hirsohn and Jack Weiler.  

The Sagehens ended the year with an 11-14 overall record and 5-2 in the SCIAC. Pomona-Pitzer reached the SCIAC Final, but ultimately fell to CMS. Kronenberg made a run in the NCAA Singles Tournament where he fell in the Round of 16.
