Sagehens Fall In Shootout To Arizona Christian

Claremont, Calif. - Five players scored in double figures for Pomona-Pitzer, but it was not enough as Arizona Christian won a 103-83 shootout over the Sagehens on Friday afternoon on the first day of the David Wells Classic.

With the loss, the Sagehens fall to 0-4 on the season, while Arizona Christian moves to 2-4.

However, the Firestorm's one-two punch of guard Steffani Liscum (29 points) and reserve forward Sarah Beth Hock (24 points, 11 rebounds) proved to be too much to overcome.
