THOUSAND OAKS, CA. – The Pomona-Pitzer Women's Golf team finished in third place in the California Lutheran Regals Invitational on Monday and Tuesday afternoon at Sunset Hills Country Club.
The Sagehens finished in third place overall with a final score of 658, which was just eight strokes behind second place Cal Lutheran. CMS placed first with a score of 621 while Redlands finished behind the Sagehens in fourth with 678 followed by St. Mary's in fifth at 693, Occidental in sixth with 699, Hope International ibn seventh at 709 and Marymount University in eighth at 727.
The Sagehens were led by Andi Chaloult, Sophia Hui and Priscilla Ki who all tied for 11th overall with a score of 165. Chaloult shot an 83 in round one and an 82 in round two while Hui shot the opposite with an 82 in round one and an 83 in round two. Ki shot a low score of 80 to open up round one and came back in day two with an 85 that dropped her down five spots into 11th overall.
Gabrielle Herzig played an even two rounds of golf at the Regal Invitational to finish in 17th overall as she shot an 83 in both rounds for an overall score of 166.
Catherine Lott ended the day for the Sagehens tied for 23rd overall as she shot an 80 in round one and then a 90 in round two for an overall score of 170.
