Women's Golf: No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer Takes Sixth At Westbrook Invitational

PEORIA, AZ. – The No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer Women's Golf team finished in sixth place at the Westbrook Invitational at Westbrook Village Golf Course.

The Sagehens finished with a final score of 635 which landed them in sixth place overall. CMS took first with a 595, Washington University St. Louis finished second with 608, Redlands in third at 611, George Fox in fourth at 612 and Texas-Tyler in fifth at 621.

The Sagehens had three golfers finish inside the top-25. Leading the way was Annabelle Huether who shot a 75 in round one and a 79 in round two for a total of 154, which landed her in a tie for 16th.

Sophia Hui and Priscilla Ki also finished inside the top-25 as Hui shot a 79 and a 77 for a total of 156 in a tie for 19th and Ki finished in a tie for 24th with a 78 and a 79 for a score of 157.

Gabrielle Herzig finished in a tie for 37th with an 83 and a 79 for a score of 162 and Andi Chaloult finished just behind her in a tie for 42nd with an 83 and an 80 for a score of 163. Ending the day for the Sagehens was Stephanie Yu who shot a 90 in round one and came back with an 82 in round two for a score of 172 in a tie for 54th overall.
