PASADENA, CA. -- The Pomona-Pitzer Women's Golf team ended day two of the SCIAC Championship in third place at Brookside Golf Club on Friday afternoon.
The Sagehens finished day two with a score of 321, which puts their two-day total at 640. Redlands currently sits in first place with a score of 620, followed by CMS with 621 then Chapman in fourth at 65, Whittier in fifth at 659, Cal Lutheran in sixth at 662, Occidental in seventh at 667 and La Verne in eighth at 738.
The Sagehens were led by Priscilla Ki who finished day two tied for seventh overall with a 77 in round one and an 80 in round two for a score of 157. Stephanie Yu finished with the next best score for the Sagehens in 14th overall with a 78 and an 83 for a score of 161. Just behind Yu is Sophia Hui in 17th overall. Hi shot an 83 in round one and an 80 in round two for a score of 163. Annabelle Huether and Andi Chaloult tied for 21st overall with a score of 167. Huether shot an 82 and an 85 while Chaloult shot an 89 in round one and came back with a 78 for round two. Ending the day for the Sagehens was Gabrielle Herzig who shot an 82 and an 86 for a score of 168, which puts her in a tie for 2th after two days of golf.
The Sagehens will continue with the final round of the SCIAC Championship tomorrow morning at Brookside Golf Club.
