CLAREMONT, CA – The Pomona-Pitzer Athletic Department announced today that it will once again be providing free transportation to Women's Soccer SCIAC postseason action, this time to the SCIAC Championship at Cal Lutheran on Saturday, November 7th via the Sagehen Shuttle.
Pomona-Pitzer reached the SCIAC Tournament Championship match for only the second time in program history and first time since 2012 courtesy of a 1-0 win over #1 seed Redlands on Thursday night. With a berth to the NCAA Tournament on the line, the 4th-seeded Sagehens will take on the 3rd-seeded Regals at William Roland Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 7pm.
The Sagehen Shuttle will be able to provide free transportation to the match for 15 students from either Pomona or Pitzer College. Seats come on a first-come first-serve basis and the vans will depart at 5:15pm promptly from the 6th Street driveway between the Rains Center and Merritt Field. The vans will also return to campus immediately after the conclusion of the match.
For free admission as well as to confirm their spot on the shuttle, students must bring their student IDs with them to the match.
Interested students should contact Brandon Johnson either via email at email@example.com or via text at 269-762-0311 to reserve their spot (be sure to include your name and 'Cal Lu Game' in your text).
