Women's Track Puts Up Top 10 Numbers At Rossi Relays

Claremont, Calif. - Three Pomona-Pitzer Women's Track and Field relay teams moved into the top 10 in the Sagehen record books with their performances at the Rossi Relays on Saturday, hosted by CMS.

The Women's 4x100 time of 50.20 ranks seventh all-time in Pomona-Pitzer history, as freshman Schuyler Fox, freshman Alyssa Kim, sophomore Ailene Nguyen and freshman Cat Banobi put up an impressive time in their first official relay together.

The distance medley relay team ran a 12:46.85 to clock the No. 3 all-time mark for Pomona-Pitzer. That team was freshman Maya Weigel, Banobi, junior Stassja Sichko and senior Claire Brickson.

Meanwhile, the women's 4x800 team ran 10:14.51 to record the No. 6 all-time mark in Sagehen annals. That team was Sichko, freshman Zoe Flavin, Brickson and Weigel.

Among the individual highlights was freshman Kaile Sauro (pictured) who competed in the high jump for the first time and finished 11th with a top jump of 4-9.75.

The Sagehens return to action next weekend for their annual dual meet with Occidental.
